Elaine is 8 weeks old this week. She's been smiling alot since she turned 7 weeks old. First signs of a smile was caught with my cell phone.

Natalie and Peter have been enjoying their times with their baby sister, always saying "Hi Baby!" and giving her many kisses. Peter especially likes to let me know when she's spitting up, which has turned out to be quite helpful!

Elaine had her 2-month appointment today, and she checked out all ok! She weighed 11.5lbs and measured almost 23 inches, which puts her around 70th%. We just need to work on more tummy time and getting her to sleep on her own. I admit I've been spoiling her by feeding until she falls asleep and then gently putting her to bed. It works nicely but I guess it's time to let her learn how to fall asleep. Funny that process needs to be learned! If that's true, I must have gotten a Ph.D in falling asleep!
